Review : Nykaa Glow Getter Highlighter Duo in Glitterati

Hi everyone,

Today I am going to write about my experience with one of the Nykaa’s latest launch. It is Nykaa Glow Getter highlighting and illuminating duo in variant Glitterati.

What the brand says –

Made for the girl who loves her glow, Nykaa Glow Getter Highlighting & Illuminating Duo features two luminescent shades that reflect light to give you an amplified radiance. Its one of a kind formula creates an unparalleled, creamy feel that glides on to your skin seamlessly in an elegant finish. Never cakey, never gritty, this lush highlighter duo is all the spotlight you’ll ever need!

Long-lasting strobed effect

Ultra-luxe, Creamy formula

Price – Rs. 699/-

My take on the product – The highlighter duo comes in a square plastic packaging that has a transparent lid with the brand name embossed on it. The lid has a magnetic closure. Since its a duo, there are 2 highlighters in the palette. The product is very finely milled in texture amd the formula is really buttery. The pigmentation is amazing. Single swatch picks up a lot of product. The highlighter blends really well on the skin and gives a subtle natural glow to the skin if one is light handed with it. The glow can be intesified if the product is built up. The best part is it does not look unnatural or powdery even if you build the product up. The glow it gives is very skin like.

Top – Blonde Gold; Bottom – Rose Gold

Now coming to the variant Glitterati, it has two highlight shades. One is Blond Gold and the other is Rose Gold. This particular variant is most suitable for meduim to dark skin tones. It will be too dark for fairer skin tones( for fairer skin tones 24k Glam would be a good pick).
The shade Blond Gold is a bit too yellow for my skin tone but it will look absolutely stunning on darker skin tones.

If you are someone with skin tone close to mine Rose Gold is the suitable highlight shade for you. I personally like Rose Gold on myself and sometimes i just mix these two shades and apply on the highest points of my cheekbones.

So by now you guys should know my final thoughts on the product as I have rambled on and on about how amazing it is. I have no cons to share with you except that the Blonde Gold shade is a bit yellow for me. Except that I have nothing negative to say about this highlighter duo and I highly recommend everyone to try this one out. It will not disappoint you.

My rating – 4.8/5 ( I have taken off .2 because of the blonde gold shade 😣)
