My take on the product

Packaging – This lipstick comes in frosted rectangular transparent tube. It has a matte black cap that has the brand name and logo written on it. It is easy to identify the shade as the tube is transparent and also the shade no. and name is written on the bottom of the tube. The packaging is quite sturdy hence its travel friendly.

The applicator is an ordinary doe foot
applicator as in most other liquid lipsticks. It is quite convinient to line and fill the lips.

Formula/Texture/Pigmentation – The formula is a bit liquidy than other liquid lipsticks I have used so far. It dries down into a comfortable velvetty matte. Its is really light weight and non drying on the lips. It does take a bit longer to dry which I think is good because you would get time to work with it. On the other hand you have to wait till it dries to build the color up. The lipstick does not settle into the fine lines and cracks in my lips.

Like every other liquid matte lipstick it is advisable to prep and moisturize
your lips way before applying these.

These lipcolors are quite pigmented. 2 swipes will give a full opaque color pay off.
The staying power is really good. I wore one of the shades for 6 hours and it stayed put quite nicely. It did fade a little form the inner part of the lips after a meal and a coffee. And I noticed that it did transfer a bit on to the coffee mug.

I bought 4 shades which I have swatched below.

(From top)- Felt Fawn, Taffeta Terracotta, Satin Scarlet, Brocade Burgundy

Satin Scarlet – It is a true red ! And will look flattering on any skin tone !

Brocade Burgundy – As the name suggests it is a dark vampy burgundy shade !

Felt Fawn – This is my least favourite shade of the four ! Its a cool toned greyish nude shade ! It might look great on lighter skin tones but it washes me out a little and makes my teeth look yellow ! 🙄

Taffeta Teraccota – This shade is so pretty ! Its a warm toned terracotta shade.

This is the first time I used a Sugar lip product and I gotta say ! I am impressed with the formula, color pay-off and also the staying power !
